Duties
- Lead daily café operations, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service at all times
- Supervise and motivate baristas and staff to deliver top\-tier coffee and food service experiences
- Manage POS systems for accurate transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting
- Oversee food safety protocols, proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Train staff on coffee brewing techniques, food preparation and customer engagement strategies
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items; place orders as needed to maintain stock levels
- Handle cash register operations, cashiering duties, and financial reconciliation at shift end
- Maintain a clean, organized café environment that promotes safety and efficiency
- Implement sales strategies to increase revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Address customer concerns promptly to foster positive relationships and repeat business
- Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and beverage customization
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a café or food service setting
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing and reporting
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
- Ability to train staff on food preparation techniques and customer service protocols
- Experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required
