Job Description
The Banking \& Insurance sector is undergoing operational transformations driven by AI, automation, analytics, and cloud. This role is aimed at a Senior Consultant seeking to work on high\-impact programmes (Growth, Operational Efficiency, Regulation, fraud prevention).
YOUR MISSIONS
As a Senior Banking Consultant (M/F), you manage and deliver operational transformation engagements for Banking \& Insurance sector clients, drawing on strong business expertise and technological levers (AI, automation, analytics, cloud).
Key responsibilities:
- Business advisory: diagnose business challenges, define the target state (process, organisation, technology), and build the roadmap incorporating augmented transformation impacts
- Project management: facilitate and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (business, IT, cross\-functional, support), monitor schedule, budget, and risks
- Typical deliverables: studies, business cases, scoping documents, target state designs, governance documents, transformation plans, KPIs, and dashboards
- Acculturation \& adoption: design and facilitate requirements definition workshops and ensure adoption of new systems and tools
- Business development: contribute to opportunity identification, proposal drafting, RFP responses, and client presentations
- Quality \& knowledge management: capitalise on best practices, enrich internal engagement assets and repositories
- Conduct a diagnostic of banking/insurance client journeys (front\-to\-back) and recommend an automation \& AI trajectory
- Build the business case and ROI for core banking / core insurance migration or scoring engine industrialisation
- Manage a migration or offering development project (banking and/or insurance)
- Support regulatory compliance through process and reporting reviews
Experience: 5 to 8 years of consulting experience (or a combination of consulting \+ project experience within a bank or insurance company) with significant assignments in the Banking and/or Insurance sector. Business expertise: Knowledge of at least one product or business area (payment methods, loans, risk, specialized professions, savings, life insurance, property \& casualty) and/or a major sector player, operational processes (Front / Middle / Back), and/or applicable regulations. Technical skills: Practice of digital transformation and/or data\-driven and/or automation and/or AI; proficiency in modeling and analysis tools (advanced Excel, BI tools); Project methodology: Waterfall and Agile. Soft skills: Leadership, ability to lead teams, results orientation, client\-centric, pedagogy, diplomacy, and communication skills.
Education: Advanced degree (business school, engineering school, or equivalent university). Languages: Fluent French; professional English (B2 minimum).
