Senior Assistant Care Worker

Job description
Grange Lea Residential Home Ltd is looking for a self motivated senior carer to join our dedicated team, to provide leadership and to work alongside care staff and support the management, within our 26 bedded care home. Must hold minimum NVQ 3 Adult health \& social care and Must have worked in a similar setting for a minimum of 2 years and be flexible.
To provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager (full job description will be given at interview or can be discussed prior to interview).
To maintain skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time\-to\-time be required to maintain practices are up\-to\-date
Maintain dignity and respect of all residents. Provide personal care. Document daily information within our computerised care system.
Liaise with professional ie GP's District Nurses Mental Health Team Opticians etc
Manage and support the care team whilst in charge of a shift.
Administer Medication to Level 2 standard, working on a electronic medication system.
Audit care plans
Contracted hours 26\+ per week
Earliest starting time 7am

Latest Finishing time 8pm
On\-call maybe required payment will be made
Job Types: Permanent.
PPE and uniforms are provided.
