We are committed to delivering a high\-quality, responsive and inclusive admissions service that reflects UCL’s values and ambition. Working collaboratively with academic colleagues and professional services teams, we support fair and transparent admissions processes while contributing to an outstanding applicant experience.
About the role

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Admissions Officer on a part\-time (0\.4 FTE/ 14\.6 hours per week) job\-share basis within UCL’s central postgraduate admissions team. The team is responsible for the administration and management of applications to postgraduate taught and research programmes across the university, supporting applicants through a complex and high\-volume admissions process.
The role will involve responsibility for key aspects of postgraduate admissions administration, alongside the shared management of a team of admissions staff. You'll work closely with academic colleagues to agree and implement admissions selection criteria, assess applications and make decisions in line with agreed policies and procedures. The role also includes reviewing complex fee status assessments and preparing documentation to support applicants requiring sponsorship under the UK Visas \& Immigration points\-based immigration system.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced admissions professional to contribute to a collaborative, service\-focused team within a global higher education environment.
*Please note, this role is initially offered on a 12\-month fixed\-term basis to start from 5th October 2026\. The role is offered on a hybrid working basis with a minimum onsite criteria of 1\-day per week (subject to change) in our Kings Cross office.*
*If you have any queries about the roles, please contact Chris Gregory at: christopher.gregory@ucl.ac.uk*
*This role does not meet the requirements for a Skilled Worker visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require a right to work in the UK.*
