Accounts & Tax Senior

Join our team as an Accounts & Tax Senior and be part of a growing firm with a clear path for progression. This role is ideal for someone with substantial UK practice experience who is looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with the firm and manage a diverse portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients, ensuring all financial reports and tax compliance are handled efficiently.


• Oversee accounts, corporation tax, personal tax, and VAT compliance.


• Utilise Xero and Iris for bookkeeping and financial reporting.


• Provide advisory services and manage client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and engagement.


• Support the Directors in strategic practice growth initiatives.


• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a UK practice environment.


• ACA or ACCA part qualified or finalist/QBE (Qualified is a bonus!)


• Proficient in Xero, Iris, and knowledgeable across various tax disciplines.


• Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach.


• Ability to start immediately or at short notice is highly advantageous.
