Senior Account Manager H/F (BtoB Industrial Renewable Cold Energy)
Fondée en 2017 et basée à Toulouse, WATER HORIZON est une entreprise innovante du secteur de l’énergie qui s’attaque à l’un des grands défis énergétiques actuels : la décarbonation du froid. Sa technologie de stockage thermique mobile permet de transformer une énergie aujourd’hui perdue en une ressource renouvelable et décarbonée.
Soutenue par 18 M€ de financements levés courant 2025, WATER HORIZON a franchi un cap majeur. Plusieurs projets industriels sont aujourd’hui en fonctionnement, tandis que l’entreprise accélère le déploiement commercial de ses technologies, poursuit ses efforts de R\&D et entre dans une phase de montée en cadence industrielle.
Pour accompagner cette croissance, WATER HORIZON renforce fortement ses équipes, avec l’objectif de passer à 100 collaborateurs à horizon deux ans, et s'installe prochainement dans de nouveaux locaux. Following its development, Water Horizon needs to enhance its business structure and is looking to integrate a permanent Senior Account Manager.
Within the Business division the Senior Account Manager will have the responsibility to drive the revenue growth of the company.

Job Mission:
As the Senior Account Manager your mission aims mainly to contribute in updating the sales \& business strategy \& act as a key player in its implementation.
· Hunt for opportunities / develop the company in the predefined countries.
· Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing high\-value BtoB deals in the industrial cold energy sector.
· Build and maintain long\-term relationships with industrial clients, understanding their energy needs and proposing tailored renewable cold energy solutions.
· Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, marketing) to ensure seamless delivery of energy solutions.
· Stay ahead of market trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes in the energy and renewable energy sectors.
· Develop and Manage Key Accounts long term.
Key Responsibilities:
*Commercial Leadership*
· Identify and target high\-potential industrial clients (e.g., manufacturing, food processing, data centers, etc.) in your area of responsibility.
· Negotiate and close complex BtoB contracts for the supply of renewable cold energy (MWh).
· Manage the full sales cycle: from lead generation to contract signing and client onboarding.
*Technical Expertise*
· Advise clients on the technical and economic benefits of renewable cold energy solutions, including efficiency, cost savings, and sustainability.
· Work closely with the engineering team to design customized energy solutions for clients.
· Present technical proposals and business cases to decision\-makers (C\-level, procurement, operations).
*Market Intelligence*
· Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in cold energy and renewables.
· Represent WATER HORIZON at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Profile and Skills:
*Education*
· MSc in Engineering (Bac\+5\) (i.e. Industrial Processes, Thermal Engineer, Mechanical, Electrics)
*Technical Skills*
· Technology enthusisast
· 10\+ years of experience in BtoB sales, with a strong track record in energy, renewable energy, or industrial utilities.
· Engineering background preferred or deep technical understanding of renewable, energy systems, cold energy, industrial processes.
· Fluent (C1 / C2\) in French and English (written and spoken) – both mandatory.
· Proven ability to sell technical solutions (e.g., energy supply, efficiency solutions, or industrial services).
*Personal Skills*
· Team player by construction
· Strong negotiation and closing skills with experience in long\-term contract sales.
· Results\-oriented with a hunter mentality and a passion for sustainable energy.
· Experience in Technical Sales with long Time to Market process and low conversion rate
· Significant international industrial BtoB business experience
· Existing network in the industrial sector (e.g., manufacturing, food \& beverage, pharmaceuticals, data centers).
· Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in energy (e.g., EU or French policies and market).
· Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, SAP, etc.).
Salary:
From 60 to 80 k€ gross following experience, bonus included
