Senior Account Manager, Rickmansworth / Hybrid. £45K

We're looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join a growing integrated marketing agency.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an agency professional who combines excellent client management with commercial thinking and a strong understanding of modern marketing.

You'll take ownership of a portfolio of integrated client accounts, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and bringing together specialists across strategy, media, performance, creative, content and analytics to deliver measurable results.

This is a hands-on client leadership role. One minute you could be discussing strategy with a senior client, the next reviewing campaign performance, interrogating a media plan, shaping a brief or ensuring a complex integrated project stays firmly on track.

What you'll be doing

• Take day-to-day ownership of a portfolio of key client relationships.


• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of their businesses, audiences and commercial objectives.


• Lead integrated campaigns from brief and strategy through to delivery, optimisation and evaluation.


• Provide proactive strategic counsel, identifying opportunities and challenging clients constructively where appropriate.


• Bring together specialists across media, performance, creative, content and analytics around client objectives.


• Review campaign strategies, media plans, budgets and timelines before they reach clients.


• Understand campaign performance and turn data into clear insights, recommendations and actions.


• Manage multiple projects, timelines, budgets, resources and workstreams.


• Take commercial responsibility for accounts, including budgets, forecasting, profitability and scopes of work.


• Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships.


• Support and develop junior members of the Client Services team.


• Contribute to new business pitches and wider agency initiatives.

We're looking for someone with

• 5+ years' experience within an agency environment, including significant experience managing complex client accounts.


• Proven experience delivering integrated marketing and media campaigns.


• Excellent client relationship skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.


• Strong commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, forecasting and account profitability.


• A good understanding of digital and paid media.


• The confidence to interrogate campaign performance and challenge media and performance specialists.


• Strong project management and organisational skills.


• Experience translating data and campaign results into meaningful client recommendations.


• A proactive approach to client relationships, spotting opportunities and solving problems before being asked.


• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

You don't need to be hands-on building campaigns in Google Ads, Meta or other platforms. What's important is that you understand modern media and marketing well enough to question, challenge and collaborate effectively with specialist teams and explain recommendations confidently to clients.

Experience across Higher Education, Healthcare, Financial Services, Professional Services or B2B would be particularly useful, as would exposure to Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, programmatic media, GA4, Looker Studio, SEO or AI-powered marketing.
