Senior Account Executive – Financial Lines (D&O Focus) An established and highly respected insurance broker is looking to hire a Senior Account Executive to join their growing Retail division, with a particular focus on Financial Lines / D&O.
This is a client-facing, business development-led role, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, winning new business, and working collaboratively across specialist teams to deliver tailored solutions.
The Role You will play a key role in driving growth across the Retail business, working closely with internal specialty teams to deliver solutions to a diverse client base.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and contributing to RFP processes to win new clients, particularly within D&O / Financial Lines
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective retail clients
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining an active pipeline
- Working closely with specialist teams to structure and present tailored insurance solutions
- Ensuring client requirements are fully understood and translated into market submissions
- Overseeing renewals and mid-term adjustments, ensuring high service standards throughout
- Strong understanding of Financial Lines, particularly D&O
- Demonstrated ability to win and develop new business
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness and understanding of the competitive insurance market
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
