Senior ABAP Developer (m/f/d)

We're looking for a Senior ABAP Developer to join our team in Germany. This role offers a flexible working arrangement with the ability to work remotely from anywhere in Germany, combined with regular visits to the client site to support collaboration and delivery.

This role focuses on designing and delivering high\-quality ABAP\-based solutions while integrating AI\-driven capabilities to optimize processes and enhance automation. You will play a key part in building innovative functionalities and supporting critical business systems in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ABAP\-based functionality in PPMS


• Implement AI\-driven components, such as MCP Servers and AI\-supported automation features


• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with a primary focus on ABAP development


• Collaborate with cross\-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project success

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ABAP programming, including ABAP Objects, ABAP CDS and oData


• Strong understanding and experience applying AI to boost productivity


• Ability to learn quickly and deliver outcomes in uncertain and complex environments


• Fluency in German


• Good command of English

• Experience in advanced AI implementations or automation frameworks


• Familiarity with performance optimization in SAP environments
