A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Darwen. You will play a crucial role supporting pupils with additional needs, enabling them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities • Deliver targeted SEND support on a 1:1 basis
- Assist with classroom inclusion and behaviour management
- Implement tailored learning strategies
- Encourage pupil independence and confidence
- Knowledge of autism, ADHD, or SEMH strategies
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Friendly and collaborative school team
- Immediate start available

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
