We are partnering with a welcoming and inclusive specialist school in Watford seeking committed SEND Teaching Assistants. Ideal candidates will have primary school experience, particularly within Early Years, Pre\-school or Nursery settings, and feel confident supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities for a SEND Teaching Assistant:

• Provide classroom, 1:1 and small\-group support to pupils with SEN.


• Support children with their learning, development and emotional regulation.


• Assist pupils with personal and intimate care needs.


• Use effective behaviour\-management strategies to promote positive behaviour.


• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND.


• Experience within a primary, Early Years, Pre\-school or Nursery setting.


• Hands\-on experience providing personal or intimate care.


• Confidence managing challenging behaviour.


• An enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one, and the ability to commute to Watford.

• Specialists in securing long\-term and permanent placements for teachers and support staff, including Teaching Assistants.


• Able to match jobs to your preferences, including location, job type and pay expectations.
