SEN Teaching Assistant
Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our partner primary and secondary schools across Wigan and Warrington from September.
You will play a key role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, helping them access learning, develop confidence, and achieve positive outcomes within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 and small group intervention support
- Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Speech & Language needs, and SEMH
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and behaviour management
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Promoting inclusion and engagement across the school day
- Full-time, long-term positions
- September starts available
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
- Potential pathways into teacher training and permanent school roles

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
