Job Title: Primary SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time, Long Term (5 days a week), Day to Day Supply
Pay Rate: £95 - £110 per day
Job Overview:
Supply Staff Ltd is seeking experienced Primary SEN Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Gloucester. The successful candidates will support pupils with additional learning needs both within the classroom and through targeted individual or small-group support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEN and additional learning needs.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required.
- Assist pupils with accessing classroom learning.
- Support positive behaviour and engagement.
- Work alongside teachers and SEN staff.
- Help pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills.
- Follow individual support plans and school guidance.
- Maintain safeguarding and professional standards.
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN is required.
- Strong understanding of additional learning needs.
- Calm, patient and supportive approach.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour where required.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Reliable daily pay in line with framework guidelines.
- Dedicated consultant supporting you throughout your placement.
