SEN Teaching Assistant - Leeds Location: Leeds
Salary: Competitive (dependant on experience)

The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom. Every day is different, but your support can make a huge impact on a child's learning, confidence and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support

  • Supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs

  • Helping students stay engaged and focused during lessons

  • Building positive relationships based on trust and consistency

  • Supporting emotional regulation and social development

  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff

We're Looking For Someone Who: • Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within SEND
  • Is calm, patient and adaptable

  • Can build strong relationships quickly

  • Has a positive and proactive attitude

  • Communicates clearly and confidently

  • Is passionate about supporting young people to succeed

Experience from care, youth work, coaching, support work or mentoring is also highly valued.
