Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference? Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic Secondary SEN Teacher to join a supportive and specialist setting in Salford from September on a full-time basis.
This well-resourced school supports pupils aged 11–16 with a range of special educational needs, including moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, and complex needs. The school prides itself on creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive.
The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Support pupils with diverse learning profiles and promote independence
- Create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents/carers
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to support development
- Promote social, emotional, and behavioural growth
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience working with SEN pupils (school-based or specialist setting preferred)
- Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and inclusive practice
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
