About the Role Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with a range of schools across Pembrokeshire, recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN / ALN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional learning needs.

You will support learners with a range of needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
- Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD)
- Physical and/or sensory needs
Key Responsibilities • Provide tailored support to pupils with ALN to help them access learning and reach their full potential
- Follow and implement strategies from Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
- Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
- Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and social development
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Assist with personal care where required (full training provided)
Experience working with children or young people with SEN / ALN (desirable)
Calm, nurturing, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to different school settings and needs
Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential
Welsh language skills are advantageous but not required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
