Description
- Prepare and review financial statements for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and provide support on tax planning matters.
- Manage bookkeeping and payroll processes for clients, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Support senior accountants with audits, including gathering and analysing financial data.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a point of contact for queries and advice.
- Contribute to the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
- Help identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and legislation relevant to the industry.
A successful Semi-Senior Accountant should have:
- Part qualified (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Prior experience in an accounting and finance role within the professional services industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
