An amazing opportunity has come up for a passionate and experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEMH school in Egham on a full-time basis, starting immediately.

About the School This lovely small specialist SEMH provision supports around 15–20 students, creating a warm, close-knit and highly supportive environment.
With just two classrooms, the school is able to offer truly personalised support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
- SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
- Autism
- ADHD
- PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance)
8:00am – 4:00pm
Plus 1 day per week until 5:00pm for planning & meetings
Your day-to-day will include:
- Supporting students academically and emotionally
- Building strong, positive relationships with pupils who may display challenging behaviours
- Encouraging confidence, engagement, and emotional regulation
- Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff
- Helping create a calm, consistent and supportive learning environment
- Experience supporting autism, ADHD, PDA or behavioural needs (highly desirable)
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A calm, resilient and caring approach
- Someone who can build trust while maintaining clear boundaries

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
