Self Employed Tax Consultant – Ad Hoc Projects

Are you an experienced Self Employed Tax Consultant or a Tax Partner with experience of both corporation tax and personal tax, looking to carry out ad hoc work for a non Tax Practice Owner based in an independent Zone 1 London accountancy firm? Do you have spare capacity to carry out some extra tax advisory based projects that will be referred / outsourced to you to carry out in a self employed capacity? This good quality independent firm which is run by an experienced Audit and Accounts Partner, is regularly getting advanced tax advisory projects referred to him which he cant service so is in need of an experienced Tax Consultant or Tax Partner that he can refer these projects too. They are a mixture of corporation and personal tax, and often at a higher advisory level.

To be considered for this newly created role (September 2026) you must be an experienced Tax Partner or Consultant, with experience of both Corporation Tax and Personal Tax, and used to carrying out higher level tax advisory work. You must have spare capacity to carry out these projects as and when required. The work will be outsourced to you and you can carry out the assignments on a self employed basis (ie not be employed by the firm).

The firm is based in Zone 1 Central London, as are all the clients, and most are property based, architects, consultants or engineers. They also have a few charity and NFP clients. The projects could range from a few days to a few weeks work. This is a good opportunity for an experienced Tax Consultant or Tax Partner with spare capacity to carry out some extra projects, to be referred work by a good quality independent firm that mainly provides audit and accounts services, and is in need of some assistance on the tax side of the business.
