Self Employed Osteopath

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Self Employed Osteopath to provide specialised musculoskeletal treatment and support to clients. This role offers flexibility for practitioners to operate independently while delivering high\-quality osteopathic care. The successful candidate will utilise their expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of conditions related to the musculoskeletal system, promoting overall well\-being and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical health and medical histories


• Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual needs


• Perform osteopathic techniques including mobilisation, manipulation, and soft tissue therapy


• Educate clients on posture, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and prevent future issues


• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with professional standards


• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all clients


• Stay informed about the latest developments in osteopathy and related fields through continuous professional development

REQUIREMENT TO WORK SATURDAYS

• recognised qualification in Osteopathy from an accredited institution


• Valid registration with the appropriate professional regulatory body


• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and biomechanics


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly


• Ability to work independently as a self\-employed practitioner


• Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple clients effectively


• Prior experience in musculoskeletal therapy is preferred but not essential; training opportunities may be available for suitable candidates
