Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Security Systems Installation Engineer fluent in Tamil and English to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining advanced security systems including CCTV surveillance, alarm systems, and access control solutions. Your expertise will ensure the safety and security of our clients’ premises through precise system design and installation. Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control panels, and related security hardware using hand tools and power tools.


• Read and interpret schematics, system design diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installation aligned with client specifications.


• Conduct site surveys to assess construction environments, electrical wiring, telecommunication setups, and mechanical requirements for seamless system integration.


• Troubleshoot technical issues related to computer networking, computer hardware, electrical connections, and telecommunication infrastructure during installation or maintenance phases.


• Collaborate with project teams to plan system layouts considering schematics and technical drawings while adhering to safety standards.


• Perform routine maintenance checks on installed systems; identify faults in IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), CCTV feeds, or access controls; execute repairs efficiently.


• Document installation procedures, system configurations, testing results, and maintenance activities comprehensively for future reference.

Experience

• Proven experience in installing security systems such as CCTV surveillance, alarms, access control devices, or IDS.


• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience relevant to construction sites or facility setups.


• Familiarity with computer networking principles essential for configuring networked security devices.


• Hands\-on experience working with schematics, system design plans, power tools, hand tools, and telecommunication equipment.


• Knowledge of construction environments or prior construction experience is advantageous for navigating complex sites effectively.


• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately while adhering to safety protocols.


• Prior exposure to telecommunication systems or related infrastructure projects is preferred but not mandatory.
