Security Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager to oversee the delivery and performance of security services across multiple client sites. The role is responsible for managing operational teams, ensuring contract compliance, and maintaining high standards of service delivery across a large workforce.

The position is field\-based and multi\-site, requiring regular travel to inspect operations, support supervisors, and ensure effective deployment of security personnel.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership

• Manage and coordinate security operations across multiple client sites.


• Oversee the deployment and performance of security staff including Supervisors and Team Leaders.


• Ensure all contracts are delivered in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).

• Conduct regular site inspections and operational audits.


• Ensure compliance with SIA regulations, company policies, and client requirements.


• Identify operational risks and implement corrective action plans.

• Oversee the management and reporting of security incidents.


• Ensure appropriate escalation procedures are followed for serious incidents.


• Support investigations and provide operational reports to senior management.

• Act as an operational point of contact for key clients.


• Attend client meetings and service reviews.


• Ensure client satisfaction and contract retention through service quality monitoring.

• Supervise and support Security Supervisors and operational teams.


• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training processes.


• Monitor performance, attendance, and workforce deployment.

• Analyse operational performance data, KPIs, and service metrics.


• Produce regular reports for senior management.


• Recommend improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.

• Proven experience in security operations or contract management.


• Strong leadership and team management skills.


• Experience managing multiple sites or large teams.


• Strong communication and client\-facing skills.


• Understanding of UK security industry standards and SIA compliance.


• Ability to analyse operational performance data.
