Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, loss prevention strategies, and prompt response to incidents. Your dedication will ensure a safe and welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site, while utilizing advanced security tools such as CCTV systems and conducting essential first aid when necessary. Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure the safety of the premises.


• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.


• Implement loss prevention measures by observing customer behavior and managing access points effectively.


• Respond swiftly to security incidents or emergencies, including administering basic first aid when required.


• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches for reporting purposes.


• Control entry and exit points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.


• Collaborate with local emergency responders during incidents to ensure swift resolution and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security operations or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.


• Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.


• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and protect assets effectively.


• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations; certification in first aid is a plus.


• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail during patrols and inspections.


• Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally.


• Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods throughout shifts.

Pay: £13\.25\-£13\.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30\.0 – 40\.0 per week
