Security Engineering Intern
About the Role
- Recognize, adopt, and instill the best practices in security engineering fields throughout the organization: development, cryptography, network security, security operations, incident response, security intelligence.
- Build and improve security utilities and tools for internal use that enable you and your fellow team members to operate at high speed and scale.
- Identify personal and team priorities and work on assignments with minimal supervision while maintaining quality and deadlines.
- Provide security expertise and guidance to a diverse set of Sika's IT and business teams.
- Conduct security reviews of core corporate and production infrastructure, including OT environments.
We Need Your Skills:* BSc degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent related field.
- at least one programming/scripting language, such as Python, Ruby, Powershell, Bash…
- Experience with malware analysis, forensics, SOAR, SIEM platforms, and a variety of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS), as well as Azure Cloud Services is a big plus.
- Enjoyment of problem solving.
- English language is needed.
- Multicultural environment.
- Working with senior tech leads.
- Visibility to IT management if that is perceived motivating.
