We are seeking a specialist PE Teacher, open to all genders, to join a dynamic school environment from September 2026 until Christmas 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students up to GCSE level, fostering a positive and energetic environment for physical education.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning in physical education up to GCSE level.


• Develop schemes of work and lessons that are in accordance with established school curriculum.


• Organise and participate in physical activities, sports, and games with students.


• Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.


• Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.


• Participate in departmental and school meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Experience in teaching PE up to GCSE level.


• Strong organisational and communication skills.


• Ability to foster a cooperative and collaborative educational environment.


• Enthusiastic, energetic, and dedicated approach to teaching and student development.
