This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Humanities teacher looking to take the next step in their career, or for an existing middle leader ready for a fresh challenge in a supportive and well-resourced setting.
The Role
- Lead and develop the Humanities department (History, Geography, and/or RE)
- Drive high standards of teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
- Inspire, motivate, and support a team of dedicated staff
- Contribute to whole-school improvement and strategic planning
- Monitor student progress and implement effective intervention strategies
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with strong subject knowledge
- Proven track record of outstanding classroom practice
- Experience in leading or supporting curriculum development
- Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about raising achievement and fostering a love of Humanities
