The Role

You will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-impact English lessons across Key Stages


• Inspire students to achieve strong academic outcomes and develop a love of English


• Use assessment effectively to track progress and close attainment gaps


• Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment


• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities


• Support students’ wellbeing and progress as a form tutor


• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS and a relevant degree


• Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for English


• Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and behaviour management


• Is committed to inclusion and ensuring all students succeed


• Communicates effectively and works well within a team


• Is reflective and committed to ongoing professional development
