<p><strong>The Role…</strong></p>
<p>At Soho House, a <strong>Runner</strong> plays a vital supporting role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of service between the kitchen and front-of-house teams. As a key link in the dining experience, the Runner is responsible for delivering food and beverages promptly, maintaining cleanliness and organisation across the service areas. .</p>
<p>Your main responsibility is to assist the waiting staff and make sure the member gets a superior experience. You will deliver food orders from the kitchen (or drinks orders from the bar) to members' tables, acting as a point of contact between the kitchen/bar and the floor.</p>

<p><strong>Key duties…</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bring food/drink quickly from the kitchen/bar to its respective location in the restaurants and deliver to members.</li>
<li>Maintain a spotless, pristine work environment</li>
<li>Provides service to and is accountable for an assigned section.</li>
<li>Develop relationships with members to provide personalized service.</li>
<li>Polishing cutlery ensuring they are ready for service.</li>
<li>Preparing any additions to tables in advance (preparing lemon wraps, condiments, butter portions etc)</li>
<li>Perform opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the set up and break down of stations.</li>
<li>Ensure all service equipment is handled carefully and stored correctly.</li>
<li>Maintain a spotless and pristine working environment.</li>
<li>Attending regular meetings with front and back of house teams to learn about any menu changes and specials alongside daily tastings.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What we are looking for...</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>2–3 years in a similar high-end dining environment</li>
<li>Excellent food and beverage knowledge, including wine service</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a hands-on approach</li>
<li>Confident, polished, and professional demeanour</li>
<li>Exceptional communication and organisational skills</li>
<li>Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software</li>
