<p><strong>The Role… </strong></p>
<p>At Soho House, a <strong>Host </strong>plays an essential role in <span class="NormalTextRun SCXW50087131 BCX0">welcoming and greeting members and guests, managing the table booking systems </span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW50087131 BCX0">and supporting with floor team to seat current bookings and prepare tables for the next booking.</span></p>
<p>Your main responsibility is <span class="NormalTextRun SCXW194086341 BCX0">to ensure that members have an enjoyable experience. You will deliver excellent service from </span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW194086341 BCX0">initial</span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW194086341 BCX0"> greeting and seating members and supporting with the floor team where needed.</span></p>

<p><strong>Key duties…</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Welcome every member by name and guest with open arms and in a hospitable manner. </li>
<li>Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. </li>
<li>Manage the Opera/OpenTable booking system to ensure members are seated according to their correct booking. </li>
<li>In real-time ensure that any member related concerns are addressed and action items have been set, and management team have been notified. </li>
<li>Build relationships with members and guest. Communicate red flags and positive feedback to management and wider team. </li>
<li>Support floor team to prepare tables by setting up linens, cutlery and glasses. </li>
<li>Have an outstanding knowledge of our menus to provide detailed information on the food, drink, allergies and pairings. </li>
<li>Resolve member complaints, handling all member interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism. </li>
<li>Uphold discretion and professionalism, especially when serving VIPs and PWKs.</li>
<li>Contribute to team success, attending briefings, tastings, and assisting colleagues where needed.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>What we are looking for...</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>2 - 3 years’ experience in similar capacity</li>
<li>Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain calm, through quickly and effectively problem solving under pressure</li>
<li>Must be hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests</li>
<li>Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School</li>
<li>Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed</li>
<li>Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously</li>
