Scrum Master Consultant

Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Scrum Master. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be engaged in dynamic projects, bringing your expertise to diverse client environments and contributing to the success of agile teams.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand\-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and other meetings.


• Schedule and follow the key steps of the Scrum methodology.


• Guarantee a smooth use of the Scrum methodology and help the Project Team face any obstacles.


• Provide assistance or support to the Product Owner concerning the Product Backlog.


• Assist and support the team in the delivery of the Definition of Done (DoD), Sprint Backlog, etc.


• Track team capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress purposes.


• Coach and challenge the Project Team.


• Help the Project Team face any difficulties and promote its gradual self\-organization.


• Remove barriers to team effectiveness and protect the team from outside distractions.


• Act as an ambassador of agile methods within the company.


• Provide reporting to superiors on the proper deployment of the Scrum methodology within projects.


• Risk and issue management.

• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.


• Knowledge of agile reporting and follow\-up tools (e.g. Jira).


• Sound knowledge of software development methodology.


• Sound knowledge of project management methodology.


• Knowledge of agile methodology and techniques (e.g. Kanban).


• Sound knowledge of English as well as at least one local language (Dutch or French).


• Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, empathy, and a pragmatic approach.


• Ability to encourage knowledge sharing and best practices.


• Proactive approach to the development of team competences.


• Continuous improvement mindset: taking feedback as lessons and adjusting actions accordingly.


• Team player, fostering collaboration and autonomy, using persuasive power before authority.


• Hands\-on and results\-oriented, with a focus on enabling actions in line with IT strategy.


• Agile teams are cross\-functional; all required disciplines are represented in the team (analysis, development, testing, etc.), and members are expected to contribute to other disciplines as needed to reach sprint goals.


• Expectation: 50% on site and 50% homeworking.
