The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will:

• Teach Science across KS3 and KS4.


• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs.


• Foster positive relationships that promote confidence, resilience and academic progress.


• Monitor student attainment and implement targeted interventions.


• Work closely with pastoral teams and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for every learner.


• Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Science Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.


• Experience teaching Science within a secondary school.


• Strong behaviour management skills and a good understanding of inclusive teaching practices.


• Excellent communication and organisational skills.


• A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs.
