First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking a Part-Time School Taxi Driver to join their professional team in Saffron Walden.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and customer-focused driver looking for a part-time, permanent position within a friendly, family-run business. The successful candidate will play an important role in providing a safe, reliable and professional transport service.
You will be guaranteed 12.5 hours per week, with full training and support provided.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely transport school pupils to and from school and other designated locations.
- Provide a professional, friendly and courteous service to passengers.
- Ensure passengers are transported safely and reliably.
- Follow designated routes and schedules.
- Maintain high standards of punctuality and reliability.
- Carry out appropriate vehicle safety checks and report any defects or concerns.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of passengers throughout each journey.
- Maintain a professional approach when representing the company.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Attend required training, medicals and company events.
- Work flexibly and support the wider team when required.
- Valid Category B (Car) driving licence.
- Previous driving or passenger transport experience is desirable but not essential.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Professional and reliable approach to work.
- Strong commitment to passenger safety.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, positive and can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a friendly team.
- Willingness to undertake any required training.
