School Sports Coach (SEMH Behaviour Support)
£130 per day \| (5 days per week) \| Free CPD\-accredited training provided \| ASAP start \| Based in Charlwood

Aspira Education are recruiting people from a sports coaching background to work with pupils who have SEMH and ADHD behavioural difficulties in the within a PRU unit with pupils with complex behavioural needs such as SEMH.
This is a 5 day per week placement working:
8:15 \- 4:45 Monday, Wed, Thurs 8:15\-5:00 Tuesday 8:15\-4:00 Friday

About the Role
As a Behaviour Support Assistant you will:
- Support pupils within small groups and on 1\-1, movement breaks, and structured activities to help regulate energy and re\-engage with learning.
- Utilise sport as a mode of intervention throughout the day to engage pupils back into the curriculum.
- Build strong, trusting relationships through consistency, calm communication, and positive reinforcement.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to maintain predictable routines and safe, supportive environments.
- Help the pupil develop resilience, confidence, and a sense of achievement through active, hands\-on strategies.
- Work in an inclusive school environment where every day brings opportunities to make a real impact.
We welcome applicants from backgrounds such as:
- Sports coaching, personal training, boxing coaching, youth sports clubs, or outdoor activity leadership
- Behavioural support, SEMH roles, or outreach work
All Applicants Must Have
- The right to work in the UK
- A clear fully Enhanced DBS
- Two recent references
- A willingness to complete free online safeguarding training provided by Aspira Education
- Be able to start asap
- Weekly pay
- Free CPD\-accredited training through the Aspira Training Academy
- Coaching in trauma\-informed practice, behaviour management, and active regulation strategies
- Ongoing support from an experienced, education\-focused team
