School Nurse Required – Prestigious School in Ealing
Our agency is working closely with a highly regarded and well\-established school in the Ealing area to recruit an experienced and compassionate School Nurse.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected educational setting where pupil wellbeing is at the heart of everything they do. The successful candidate will become an integral member of the school’s pastoral and safeguarding team, supporting the health and wellbeing of pupils throughout the academic year.
The Role
The School Nurse will be responsible for delivering a high standard of healthcare provision to pupils and staff, including:
- Providing first aid and emergency care when required
- Managing pupil medical records and individual healthcare plans
- Administering medication in accordance with school policies
- Supporting pupils with ongoing medical conditions
- Liaising with parents, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
- Promoting health and wellbeing initiatives across the school community
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records
- Supporting safeguarding, health, and safety procedures
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Adult or Children’s Nurse)
- Previous nursing experience in paediatrics, community, primary care, school nursing, or a related setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A caring, professional, and child\-centred approach
- Previous experience in a school environment
- Paediatric nursing experience
- Safeguarding training
- SCPHN qualification
