Minibus Drivers – Part\-time – School Term Time Only

The High School of Glasgow is currently looking to hire for the positions of Minibus Drivers on a part\-time, school term\-time only basis.

We are looking to appoint friendly and enthusiastic minibus drivers to provide a safe and efficient transport service for our pupils. Applicants must have excellent timekeeping skills and be able to work to a strict schedule, while offering flexibility where required. They should ideally have experience of working with children and will feel confident in dealing with and being responsible for children.

Applicants may apply for multiple routes and/or be entered into a pool of ad hoc drivers. They must possess either a PSV licence or hold a D1 category licence. The successful applicants will require to attend a driver’s medical and will require a satisfactory PVG scheme result before commencing employment.

Routes

• Route 1 \- Kirkintilloch Route, Monday to Friday \- Morning Shift \-

0645 – 0900 Kirkintilloch \- Senior School \= 11\.25 hours per week.

• Route 2 \- Kirkintilloch Route, Monday to Friday \- Afternoon Shift –

1530 – 1800 Senior School \- Kirkintilloch \= 12\.5 hours per week.

• Route 3 \- Killearn Route \- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – Morning Shift

0645 – 0900 Killearn \- Senior School \= 6\.75 hours per week.

• Route 4 \- Killearn Route \- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – Afternoon Shift

1530 – 1800 Senior School \- Killearn \= 7\.5 hours per week.

We are currently recruiting for multiple routes, times and days, and would request that any applicants clarify which position(s) are of interest based on the below options:

· Route number

· Days you are interested in.

Minimum 2\.25 hours per day, term time only. All of the above positions may require additional hours as and when necessary.

We intend to interview for these positions in June, with the successful applicants starting in August 2026\.

Pay: From £13\.45 per hour
