Job Overview

M8 Scaffold are a progressively growing company who are looking for Part 2 and advanced scaffolders for contracts across central belt with occasional working in Highlands as they come along. Work is mainly over to Helensburgh, down to Lockerbie and mainly about Glasgow and Lanarkshire so suggest your best living with a hour of Glasgow

Responsibilities and overview

• You will be an experience scaffolder with a few years experience mainly in similar work preferably street work


• You must have a full drivers license for fleet policy if you don't drive, we can't offer you a start. Fleet policy requires three years


• Able to work as a part of a team and manage a team to complete larger projects


• Take down larger jobs


• Make up load list for jobs


• Able to work with your own team


• You need to be presentable and tidy when building the jobs


• Safety is a huge value for us so leave the job so the client/public aren't at risk


• Be neat and build scaffold with isn't just level and safe but consider the way it looks so you don't use a 3 meter standard when a 1 meter will be tidier.


• Don't be a moaner and just get job done :\-)


• But also have the confidence to have your say and make a difference to help us grow


• Be good with clients as customer service is key to us.


• Work as part of team

• Erect and take down scaffold mainly cuplock and Tube/Fitting depending on the project


• Roof projects with system roofs


• Haki stairs


• Birdcage and crashdecks


• Mainly commercial work which is 2 to 3 weeks projects


• When required scaffold inspections


• Once every three weeks will be scaffold inspection in Highland so can be a six hour driving day but we share the work out

• CISRS Part 2/Advanced card


• Full UK drivers license, no more than 3 points or ban in past three years. Must be driving for three years

• 5\.6 Weeks holiday with 1 additional day for each completed year up to 5 extra days

• If your license allows a company van/dropside

Pay: £19\.00\-£21\.00 per hour
