SAP Basis Senior Consultant

We are seeking a Senior SAP Basis Consultant to strengthen our internal SAP Platform Basis team and help ensure the stability, security and continuous improvement of our global SAP landscape.

Main Responsibilities

• Operations \& reliability — Operate and monitor a complex global SAP landscape, ensuring high availability, performance and reliability across SAP ECC 6\.0, NetWeaver 7\.0, SAPS/4HANA 2025, BW/BI, SAP Datasphere, SAC, BTP, Cloud ALM, CPI and AS Java.


• Cloud operations — Administer SAP Private Cloud environments and support cloud transformation initiatives.


• Lifecycle management — Plan and support installations, upgrades, patches, support packages, kernel and SAP GUI updates, and release migrations.


• System copies — Execute homogeneous and heterogeneous system copies and landscape refreshes.


• Security \& access — Support IAM, user administration, role and privileged\-access concepts, SSO integrations (SAML 2\.0 and SPNEGO), and digital certificate lifecycle management.


• Change \& transport — Manage the SAP transport infrastructure and technical change implementation.


• Archiving — Support enterprise archiving solutions.


• Service management — Monitor performance, capacity and platform health; resolve incidentes and problems in line with agreed SLAs.


• Project delivery — Lead internal SAP Basis projects and coordinate delivery with the external hosting provider.

• 6\+ years of SAP Basis experience.


• Hands\-on expertise in system copies and refreshes, transport management, performance monitoring and optimization, enterprise archiving, SSO (SAML 2\.0 and SPNEGO), and digital certificates.


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills.


• High level of commitment, responsibility, self\-motivation and organization.


• Ability to learn quickly and build expertise in new areas.


• Fluent English (mandatory).


• Willingness to travel to Germany up to 10% of the time.

• Proven experience managing complex SAP landscapes in international environments.


• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
