Position Overview:
The Salon Account Manager plays a pivotal role in the company's sales and client management efforts. Reporting directly to the Area Sales Manager, the incumbent is responsible for servicing and developing the existing client base and territory, while also fostering new business opportunities. They must build and maintain strong relationships with clients, promote sales initiatives, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Areas Covered: North Dublin Region
Key Responsibilities:
1\. Client Servicing and Development:
· Service and develop the existing client base and assigned territory.
· Build and nurture strong relationships within the client base to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.
· Identify and pursue new opportunities within the existing client base to expand business.
2\. Market Understanding:
· Gain a comprehensive understanding of the market value and scope within the assigned area.
3\. Performance Targets:
· Ensure achievement of sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the company.
4\. Sales and Marketing Support:
· Promote the monthly sales calendar to clients.
· Follow and present the marketing calendar to the client base to drive engagement.
5\. Business Development:
· Proactively develop new business within the assigned territory to expand the client portfolio.
6\. Collaboration with Education Department:
· Work closely with the education department to understand available courses and programs.
· Present the education program to the client base and sell relevant courses.
7\. Client Education:
· Ensure clients are continuously educated on industry trends, products, and techniques.
· Encourage clients to maintain their own education levels by participating in relevant courses.
8\. Territory Management:
· Effectively manage the debtor listing for the assigned territory to ensure timely payments and minimise financial risks.
9\. Communication and Reporting:
· Provide continuous feedback to management on client developments and market trends.
· Monitor competitor activity to stay informed and adjust strategies as necessary.
10\. Administrative Duties:
· Complete all required paperwork and administrative functions accurately and in a timely manner.
11\. Cross\-functional Collaboration:
· Collaborate effectively with other divisions within the company to ensure overall success and alignment of objectives.
12\. Customer Experience:
· Always prioritize offering the best possible customer experience and service to clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
· Proven experience in sales, account management, or a similar role within the salon or beauty industry.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast\-paced environment.
· Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
· Knowledge of salon products, services, and industry trends.
· Results\-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and KPIs.
