We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Head of Desk to lead, develop, and grow a high\-performing team of New Business Executives. This is a hands\-on leadership role where you will combine personal sales success with the management, coaching, and development of your team, helping to drive revenue growth and support the continued success of the business.
With offices in London, Glasgow, and Manchester, your base can be flexible depending on your location.
The Role
Are you a proven sales leader who thrives in a fast\-paced, high\-performance environment?
As Head of Desk, you will take ownership of a team of New Business Executives, driving revenue, developing talent, and setting the standard for outbound sales excellence. Leading from the front, you will be responsible for delivering against your own sales targets while managing team performance and creating a culture of accountability, development, and success.
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales \& Marketing, you will oversee the day\-to\-day performance, coaching, and development of your team, ensuring individuals are supported to achieve their full potential.
You will play a key role in onboarding and developing new starters, providing regular coaching, performance management, and ongoing support to maximise results. Alongside this, you will help identify opportunities to improve sales processes, increase team effectiveness, and contribute to the continued growth of Corinthian Sports.

Lead \& Develop the Team
- Own recruitment for your desk: Source, interview, and hire high\-potential New Business Executives
- Develop talent from day one: Deliver structured onboarding, training, and continuous coaching
- Manage, coach, and mentor your team through regular 1:1s, call coaching, and performance reviews
- Own team attendance, punctuality, and daily activity standards, ensuring consistent presence and productivity
- Drive accountability across performance and behaviour, addressing underperformance quickly and effectively
- Create a high\-energy, competitive, and collaborative sales culture
- Take full ownership of team KPIs, revenue targets, and activity metrics
- Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, and outbound activity
- Identify performance gaps and implement strategies to improve results
- Motivate and push the team to consistently exceed targets
- Maintain your own individual sales pipeline and consistently hit personal targets
- Demonstrate best\-in\-class outbound sales, pitching, and closing
- Set the benchmark for activity levels, resilience, and professionalism
- Work closely with senior leadership to refine sales processes and outbound strategy
- Identify new market opportunities and improve lead generation approaches
- Support the team with key deals, negotiations, and closing strategies
- Build relationships with high\-value clients and senior decision\-makers
- Support and close complex or high\-value opportunities
- Ensure a premium, consistent client experience across the team
- Sales Leadership Experience: Proven track record managing and developing high\-performing sales teams
- New Business Expertise: Strong background in outbound sales, cold calling, and lead generation
- Player\-Manager Mindset: Ability to balance team leadership with personal billing targets
- Performance\-Driven: Track record of exceeding revenue targets individually and as a team
- Coaching Ability: Skilled at developing junior talent and improving sales performance
- Resilience \& Energy: Thrive in a fast\-paced, target\-driven environment
- Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation skills and ability to close high\-value deals
- Passion: Interest in sport, events, or hospitality is highly desirable
