Sales Support Executive

We are delighted to be working alongside a leading company based on the outskirts of Colchester who are looking for a Sales Support Executive. You will be responsible for following up quotations and converting these to orders.

Key Duties:

• Negotiate pricing within agreed guidelines and seek approval where required.


• Respond promptly to customer pricing and product enquiries.


• Work closely with Internal and External Sales teams to develop and convert opportunities.


• Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure quote follow-ups are completed on time.


• Manage customer sample requests and follow up as required.


• Identify additional sales opportunities and communicate these to the wider team.


• Support proactive sales campaigns and business development activities.


• Provide general administrative support, including managing enquiries, updating databases and maintaining project records.


• Assist the External Sales team with day-to-day requirements and customer support.


• Attend customer and site visits where required to support specifications and secure orders.


• Liaise with Supply Chain regarding stock availability and lead times.


• Respond to customers' day-to-day requirements and ensure queries are dealt with promptly.

• Driven and motivated to secure new business and close sales.


• Committed to delivering an excellent customer experience.


• Strong CRM management skills with a focus on timely follow-ups.


• Confident IT skills with experience in reporting, analysis, project tracking and CRM systems.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
