We are now looking for a Sales Specialist – Surgical to join our team in Austria. In this role, you will be at the forefront of advancing minimally invasive surgical care—partnering closely with healthcare professionals to deliver technologies that truly make a difference in patients’ lives.

What to expect

As a Hologic Sales Specialist, you will be more than a salesperson—you’ll be a trusted partner and clinical advocate:

  • Drive growth and expand market presence across your territory by delivering against ambitious sales targets

  • Build deep, long\-term relationships with surgeons, theatre staff, procurement teams, and key decision\-makers

  • Act as a clinical and product expert, communicating the value and impact of our surgical solutions

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, while maximising existing partnerships

  • Create and execute strategic territory plans, ensuring focus on high\-value opportunities

  • Represent Hologic with integrity and professionalism, delivering an exceptional customer experience

  • Stay ahead of healthcare trends, competitive activity, and regulatory environments to position Hologic as a partner of choice
What we expect Experience \& Expertise
  • Proven success in medical device sales, ideally within surgical or operating room environments

  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, buying processes, and healthcare systems

  • Ability to confidently communicate technical and clinical value propositions

  • Knowledge of the Austrian healthcare landscape is a strong advantage
Core Skills
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills—you can engage, educate and inspire

  • Strong commercial mindset, from prospecting through to closing

  • Ability to analyse data and identify growth opportunities within your territory

  • Skilled in problem\-solving and objection handling

  • Confident using CRM systems and digital tools to drive performance

Additional Requirements
  • Fluent in German and comfortable working in English

  • Valid driving licence

  • Willingness to travel extensively across Austria (\~70–80%)
Salary: €68,000 – €85,000 gross pa base \+ commission (OTE €102,000 – €127,000 based on target performance, with opportunity to earn greater than OTE for those who exceed their targets). The final offer will depend on experience, skills, and alignment with internal pay structures. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including pension and insurances.
