Sales Specialist, Analytical Systems

Location: Home office/field based

Salary: £35-40K plus car and bonus

• Are you looking for a hybrid role; working ~40:60 home office and field visits?

Working for a leading name in chemical measurement systems with applications for bench research to in-process monitoring and field analysis; our client works with a range of industries including chemical manufacturing, water/utilities, materials and advanced manufacturing and FMCG/F&B markets

Due to an internal promotion, they have an opportunity within their Sales team. Working from the north of England, you’ll be part of a high performing team delivering lab instrumentation sales to industry and academia.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Validating and developing inbound leads


• Conduct outbound new business development


• Manage multiple on-going sales cycles; ensuring excellent customer communication and working with colleagues across sales, product management and engineering to help progress sales opportunities


• Support customers with fist-line tech support and escalating where appropriate


• Field based sales visits where appropriate

About you:

• Degree qualified in Chemistry, Material Science, Physics or close related


• Good hands-on experience in an analytical, measurement science, metrology, rheological lab


• Previous sales/customer facing experience; preferably within a scientific or engineering environment
