Sales Performance Manager

Southern England Region | £50,000 Basic Salary + Monthly BonusTotal Annual Package Value: £70,000 - £80,000+

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the UK team of a rapidly expanding international automotive organisation as a Sales Performance Manager covering the Southern England region.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in driving retailer performance, network growth and commercial success across a strategically important territory. Working closely with dealer partners and senior leadership, you will be responsible for delivering sales objectives, implementing strategic initiatives and maximising market opportunities.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Regional Operations function, you will take ownership of sales performance across Southern England, ensuring retailers are fully supported, motivated and equipped to achieve ambitious sales targets.

Working closely with Dealer Principals, Investor Groups, Retailer Management Teams and Internal Stakeholders, you will develop and execute sales strategies that drive sustainable growth while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and brand representation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and exceed regional sales targets and commercial objectives.

  • Develop and implement effective territory sales strategies.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer groups and retailer partners.

  • Support retailers with performance improvement plans and sales development initiatives.

  • Conduct regular dealer visits across Southern England.

  • Implement national sales campaigns and promotional activities.

  • Monitor market conditions and competitor activity throughout the region.

  • Provide market intelligence and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Analyse sales trends, retailer performance and network opportunities.

  • Support dealer appointment, development and network expansion activities.

  • Ensure consistent brand standards and customer experience delivery.

  • Monitor customer satisfaction performance and support retailers with improvement plans.

  • Prepare detailed regional performance reports and presentations.

  • Coordinate activities with marketing, aftersales and network development teams.

  • Act as the primary brand representative within the assigned territory.

  • Support strategic sales projects as directed by senior management.

About You
  • Degree qualified in Business, Marketing, Economics, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 8 years' experience within automotive sales and dealer network management.

  • Strong understanding of automotive retail operations and franchised dealer networks.

  • Existing relationships with dealer groups and retailer partners would be advantageous.

  • Experience managing territory, regional or national sales performance.

  • Strong commercial awareness and business development capability.

  • Understanding of retailer profitability and operational performance drivers.

  • Experience implementing sales strategies and performance improvement initiatives.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong analytical and reporting capability.

  • Confident presenting to retailer leadership teams and senior management.

  • High levels of resilience, initiative and accountability.

  • Strong communication, planning and organisational abilities.

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Willingness to travel extensively across Southern England.
