Build your career with us

We're looking for a bright, motivated and commercially minded person to join our family\-owned feed business as a Sales Order Coordinator.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong graduate or early\-career candidate who wants to learn how a successful agricultural and manufacturing business works and build a long\-term career with us.

You don't need previous feed industry experience. We're looking for someone who is numerically strong, organised, confident communicating with people, able to think logically under pressure and keen to learn.

As you develop in the role, there will be opportunities to progress within the business, potentially into Account Management or other commercial and operational roles, depending on your strengths and ambitions.

About the role

You'll be a key link between our customers, Account Managers and operational teams, helping ensure the right feed is produced and delivered to the right farm at the right time.

You'll learn to:

  • Process and manage feed orders using our ERP/SAP systems.

  • Check feed types, quantities, medication and delivery requirements.

  • Coordinate with Planning, Production, Transport and QHSE.

  • Communicate with customers and manage delivery expectations.

  • Identify and escalate orders that may not be achievable, safe or compliant.

  • Help ensure orders are planned efficiently around production and transport capacity.

  • Maintain accurate records and support feed safety and regulatory requirements.

  • Solve day\-to\-day operational problems and help improve how we work.
It's a varied role where accuracy, judgement and communication really matter.

What we're looking for

You could be a recent graduate, an early\-career professional, or someone with relevant experience looking for their next step.

Essential:

  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Ability to organise and prioritise in a busy environment.

  • Calm, structured and practical approach to problem solving.

  • Confidence to ask questions, challenge issues and escalate when necessary.

  • Genuine willingness to learn and take responsibility.

  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
Desirable, but not essential:
  • Degree or equivalent, particularly in agriculture, animal science, business, supply chain, logistics or a related subject.

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.

  • Experience in agriculture, farming, manufacturing, logistics or customer service.

  • An interest in farming, livestock or agriculture.
Don't worry if you don't have feed industry experience \- we'll train you.

What you'll gain

You'll receive structured training and develop a broad understanding of:

  • Feed and agricultural supply chains.

  • Production planning and transport.

  • Customer service and Account Management.

  • ERP systems and operational processes.

  • Feed safety and regulatory requirements.

  • Commercial decision\-making and problem solving.
Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to build a career within a stable, family\-owned business rather than simply taking a job.

Why join us?

  • £30,000\+ starting salary

  • 32 days holiday including bank holidays

  • Monday–Friday working pattern

  • Full training and ongoing support

  • Company pension

  • Private medical insurance

  • Employee discount

  • Free on\-site parking

  • Long\-term career development opportunities
