About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive Sales Operations Coordinator to join a growing commercial business within the Chemical Industry based in Sittingbourne.
Working within a busy and fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in supporting customer accounts, coordinating orders, maintaining accurate data and ensuring products and services are delivered efficiently. This is a varied position that would suit someone who enjoys administration, customer interaction and working closely with multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the commercial and account management teams.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently through internal systems.
- Coordinate customer requests and ensure information is communicated effectively across departments.
- Support the introduction of new products and help ensure projects are delivered within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate customer, product and pricing information.
- Monitor stock availability and work closely with internal teams to support customer demand.
- Coordinate product samples and ensure they are tracked through relevant internal processes.
- Assist with meeting preparation, travel arrangements and general team administration.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide excellent support throughout the customer journey.
- Previous experience within administration, sales support, customer service or account coordination.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working with data, systems and administrative processes.
- A proactive and positive approach with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
