With a proven track record in sales and relationship management, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue and delivering exceptional commercial results for this stylish, one of a kind hotel in Manchester City Centre.
You'll manage client relationships, drive sales and oversee budgeting and forecasting.You'll also represent voco Manchester at industry events and networking opportunities to grow our presence and client base.
This role reports to the General Manager and works closely with our National Commercial Team.
About the Role
Based at voco Manchester, you will be accountable for growing market share, building strong client relationships, and delivering outstanding commercial results across the hotel. Through strategic sales planning and solution\-driven leadership, you will ensure revenue targets and KPIs are consistently achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and achieve ambitious revenue goals.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, tailoring solutions to meet their needs and drive repeat business.
- Leading the hotel teams to identify new opportunities through our lead share initiative
- Supporting the onsite Reservation/Meeting Events team.
- Secure corporate RFPs, group and MICE business and enhance account penetration.
- Analysing market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to identify growth opportunities and inform strategy.
- Acting as the key link between our hotel brandpartners, Kew Green Hotels, and key account stakeholders.
You are a commercially minded sales professional with the ability to balance strategy with hands\-on leadership. A natural relationship builder, you thrive in a fast\-paced environment and excel at driving results through people and performance.
We’re looking for someone with:
- A demonstrable track record in hotel sales, with measurable success in revenue growth and account development.
- Experience in large, multi\-layered sales organisations (national, regional and local) preferred.
- Strong organisational, negotiation and communication skills.
- High business and commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse data and drive solutions.
- Successful experience in coaching, training and motivating a sales team.
- Competence in using sales tools, technology, and relevant systems (Opera PMS, Opera Sales Catering, Office 365\).
