Sales Negotiator/Valuer

Our client, an independent Estate & Letting Agents based in Broadstairs are currently looking to recruit an experienced Sales Negotiator / Valuer to join their established team in Broadstairs, Thanet.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has solid estate agency experience and wants to take on a varied role within a respected, independent business.

They are looking for someone who is confident, professional, commercially aware and comfortable dealing with clients at every stage of the moving process.

The role

• The position will involve a broad range of residential sales duties, including:


• Carrying out market appraisals and valuations


• Winning new instructions and converting opportunities into business


• Advising vendors on marketing strategy and pricing


• Building strong relationships with sellers and buyers


• Conducting accompanied viewings


• Providing timely and constructive feedback


• Negotiating offers and agreeing sales


• Working closely with the rest of the sales team


• Helping to maintain sales momentum through to completion


• Generating new business through prospecting, networking and excellent customer service


• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on the company CRM system


• Ensuring clients receive regular communication throughout the process

Ideally, you will have four years’ or more experience within residential estate agency.

You should be able to demonstrate:

• Residential estate agency experience


• Strong communication skills


• Confident negotiation ability


• Experience of dealing with vendors and buyers


• A good understanding of the local property market


• A proactive approach to winning business


• Good organisational skills


• The ability to work under pressure and manage priorities


• A professional but approachable manner

A full UK driving licence

A genuine interest in property and people

Valuation experience would be an advantage, although they would also consider a strong negotiator who is ready to develop further into valuations.
