Sales Manager
Pay: £60,000\.00\-£120,000\.00 per year OTE
Job Summary \& Objectives *The Sales Manager is responsible for developing the sales team, coordinating sales operations and implementing sales techniques that allow the business to meet and surpass its targets consistently. Working with customers, internal stakeholders and business partners, this is a senior position with significant opportunity for growth.*
*The role will entail assigning sales territories, mentoring members of the sales team, setting targets, assigning sales training, full HR of the team and building sales plans. In the role you will also set goals, identify priorities and work to increase sales, profit and retention.*
Responsibilities \& Duties:
- Day to day Management of the sales team
- Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the team, assessing individuals’ strengths and weaknesses
- Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture
- Motivating, inspiring and leading.
- To manage the Sales team to consistently achieve target by \- including but not limited to
- Deal with complaints or doubts to safeguard the company’s reputation
- Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
- Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information
- Experience in team coaching and development
- Ability to undertake team training sessions
- Identifying personal and professional needs and requirements for team members
- Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas over the phone
- Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in English
- Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
- Persistent, consistent, determined and results\-oriented
- Team management experience
- 5 \+ years Sales experience
- 3 \+ years experience in telemarketing
- An entrepreneurial environment – Progression pathways to become a Floor Manager/Junior Partner/Business Owner
