About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team!
You will play a key role in supporting performance and profitability whilst ensuring that our sales team consistently delivers an outstanding customer experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially focused individual to lead from the front, develop a high\-performing team, and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Essentials (You Must Have)
- Previous experience in a Sales Manager or Sales Controller (automotive industry experience is advantageous)
- Commercially focused with a proven track record of delivering results
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high\-performing team
- Full and valid UK driving licence
- Work closely with the Business Manager to drive sales performance, profitability, and overall dealership success
- Lead, coach, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and campaigns to increase revenue and market share
- Coach and develop team members through regular one\-to\-ones, training, and performance reviews
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
- Collaborate with other departments (finance, service, and marketing) to enhance the customer experience and drive business performance
- Maintain optimal stock levels and manage vehicle inventory effectively to maximise sales opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and manufacturer partners
- Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions
