Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Effective account management of key accounts and agents within the conference and crew segments, ensuring the hotels capitalise on all opportunities from these existing accounts.

  • Collaborate with Account Management and Business Development Teams to nurture existing, and secure new opportunities following the Dalata sales process.

  • Develop and nurture relationships with key venues and partners that may have CIH / OOH group requirements

  • Represent the hotels at sales team meetings, internal external customer led events as appropriate.

  • Adoption of all available tools to support efficient ways of working including CRM, BI Tool, Market Intelligence Tools and Solver
Customer Facing\- Conference Segments
  • Develop and nurture relationships for the hotels with key national global clients through ongoing account management.

  • Generate new business and accounts for all hotels

  • To participate fully in all sales activities including telesales, sales calls, corporate entertaining, fam trips, social events, and overseas sales trips, as necessary.

  • Identification and management of new opportunities in your market in line with hotel strategy and across the wider Dalata portfolio.
Planning Forecasting
  • Collaborate with ADOS on proactive sales strategy and identifying analysing opportunities to ensure they fit with the hotels business strategy.

  • Undertake monthly tracking of CIH, COOH Crew segments in the hotels to monitor enquiries and conversion levels.

  • Timely production of monthly adhoc reports.

  • Execute actions from quarterly sales activity plans to support business needs.
Team Management
  • Regular engagement with team on their performance

  • Mentor and coach hotel sales and ME team and develop talent pipeline

  • Ensure Sales team resources are appropriately distributed across the area to meet the demands of the business
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a similar position in hotels

  • Effective communicator

  • Be commercially aware with strong analytical skills, be able to understand key business indicators and competitive trends

  • Excellent organisation and planning skills

  • Ability to develop and build long lasting relationships through account management, and promote cross selling into Dalata hotel group

  • Experience of working with global clients agencies

  • Sales focused and results driven

  • Knowledge of the Dublin market essential
